I was also one of the WW2 Newbies - but believe me I`m hooked. THE ABSOLUTE BEST airsoft game I`ve played.

Great site, great players and above all great organisation.

Cheers to all who made it possible.

Was a real pleasure putting faces to call signs, and I look forward to the next time - probably 'In the Pocket' for me.

A HUGE thanks to the gent with the Jeep - a real asset in every way. Thanks for the ride.

Now frantically working to get the pictures and video up.........

Nice photo montage, mate!!

Surreal moment:
I've been hunting vermin and rabbits for five years now and I know how to keep still and quiet. I saw several deer on site although I thought they were just Roe. Was covering flank with the M60 on the first Roadblock objective when into my sights lolloped a hare! F##k me that's a big rabbit was my first thought but he was a hare no doubt. He watched me for five mins and wandered away and I had my first sight of a hare.
The things you see when you havent got the right gun! lol

(and eaten alive by the soldier ants).

Ah, these "soldier" ants are gaining mythical proportions! From a bit of online research, they were most likely red wood ants - aggressive in behaviour, they sting and spray formic acid. The only known way to combat them is with high explosives.

hey,
cheers andy and Neil for a great weekend and big thanks to hopeless (chris) for the lift. my fav moments was holding a base from yanks assaults with the rest of the ss, getting gadge after going through the pond and sinking into it in some places lol and promptly loosing him to a random yank patrol lol, then straight after me and cw randomly patrolling ok wondering looking for germans and harassing the yanks a little. but my fav defiantly has to the ambush on the remaining yanks at the end of sunday it worked so well.

great photo's guys i even got in a few this time. i will hopefully try and make it to husky for some more ww2 fun.

Embarrassing stories? As the second session was kicking off, I realised my MP40 had no battery in it! Later on, I tried a short cut... it led nowhere but steeply down inside a massive bush of Rhododendron mixed with brambles. It took me 10 minutes to climb back out of it!

saturday afternoon while the rest of my team (sas) were defending the cp from the german attack, (to liberate gadge) I had set up further out so that we werent al in one position!

I had a few kills and was assisted by a few partizans part way through the firefighting, then they got killed off a little and I believed the attack had moved past me towards the base and gadge! So using all of my sneaky beaky skills, i crawled all the way from my position to the edge of the base, which took me about 30 mins to do, then hearing the voice of welsh - who was playing as a german - i though to myself that the germans must have captured welsh! I then heard some of the unkown bods talking about "times nearly up" so I though right thats it then, so i moved a little closer, spotted some partizans and fired off a few rounds!

one of them then called out, I am unarmed stop shooting up my house, you filthy german pig (or something like that) , which I thought was a little weird. Undetered i fired off a few more rounds and scored a hit on one of them. he in return called out, "I am unarmed, have a nice walk!" and as a stood up, i could see a large collection of puzzled british soldiers looking at me! my mate mark then said "nice one Add" and a started walking, head hanging low!
